Bring-Your-Own Case Workshop (Network Members Only)

Location: Lake Mizell A
Date: Fri, May 1
Time: 2:15 PM - 5:15 PM

Litigating innocence cases can be extremely challenging, even when the evidence of innocence is compelling.  From byzantine procedural requirements, to reluctant witnesses, to skeptical prosecutors, the difficulties faced in our cases can seem insurmountable to even the most experienced lawyers.  This closed session will examine a few of the more challenging cases in the Network, using the case-round method to work through some of the more complicated issues faced in those cases and in many other innocence cases.  The goal of the session will be to not only develop a path forward in those cases, but also to help generate a high-level discussion about how to work through these sorts of problems when they arise in other cases.
