Starting an Innocence Effort

This session will assist attendees in understanding how to start or grow an innocence effort, with background information on initial setup of the organization, including administrative and financial necessities for commencing or sustaining any successful effort.  The panel will also focus on different organizational models, with panelists who represent a free-standing non-profit, as well as organizations housed in a law school clinic and public defender office.  The program will outline the membership criteria and application process for organizations wishing to gain membership to the Innocence Network.  There will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
