Audrey Edmunds, the mother of two and expecting her third child, was doing part time day care in her home. On October 16, 1995, almost 7 month old Natalie went into distress and died later that evening. Five months later Audrey was charged with her death due to Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), found guilty and sentenced to 18 years in the Wisconsin prison system. With the help of the Wisconsin Innocence Project, she was released in February, 2008. She speaks to bring awareness to wrongful SBS and other convictions. In November, 2012 her book It Happened to Audrey was released.
