Carrie Sperling joined the University of Wisconsin Law School in August 2013 where she now serves as the Associate Dean for Experiential Learning and Education Innovation and Co-Director of the Wisconsin Innocence Project. Sperling previously taught at Arizona State's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law and served as Executive Director of the Arizona Justice Project. Professor Sperling has developed a special interest in Shaken Baby Syndrome. She has litigated several cases on behalf of wrongly accused caregivers and consults with attorneys both pre-trial and post-conviction. Her research focuses on the dangers of unreliable forensic science in criminal trials.
