Ralph Grunewald

Ralph Grunewald is assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with appointments in the Department of Comparative Literature and Folklore Studies and the Center for Law, Society, and Justice. He is a German-trained lawyer and received his Ph.D. in Criminal Law from the University of Mainz (Germany) and a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research focuses on questions of comparative criminal law and procedure but also on the construction of guilt and innocence in the legal and literary discourse.
