Wes Reber Porter


Wes Reber Porter teaches criminal law, evidence and skills courses, and serves as the director of the Litigation Center, at Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco, California. He has created nationally-recognized programs in legal education, including an Ethical Prosecutions online symposium, and was named as a Fellow of Educating Tomorrow’s Lawyers. His research focuses on federal criminal law and procedure, sentencing and white collar crime from the perspective of defendant's rights and injustices. He joined the academy after a career as a federal prosecutor with the Criminal Division of the U.S Department of Justice, U.S. Attorney’s Office and U.S. Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps.
